Как и остальные популярные приложения, WhatsApp регулярно получает всевозможные обновления. Некоторые из них крупные и вносят кучу изменений в работу программ, а некоторые предназначены только для исправления небольших неисправностей. В любом случае обновлять приложение следует как только эта становится возможным, чтобы всегда оставаться защищенным и иметь весь доступный функционал.

Обновить WhatsApp можно двумя способами. Оба они довольно просты.

Первый – просто удалить программу и скачать заново в AppStore, ведь фирменный магазин Apple не дает возможности выбрать версию скачиваемого приложения и всегда устанавливает только последнюю.

Второй вариант также связан с AppStore, но здесь нас интересует уже вкладка «Обновления».

Если для приложения есть какие-то обновления, они будут отображаться в этой вкладке. Чтобы обновить его просто нажимаем на кнопку «Обновить» около WhatsApp.

Также можно просто ввести в строке поиска WhatsApp и там уже нажать на «Обновить». Если уже используется последняя версия, там будет иконка «Открыть».

Вот такими нехитрыми действиями можно получить последнюю доступную версию популярного мессенджера.

AMAZING. 🤩🤩

I think Whatsapp is AMAZING it’s so easy to use and I enjoy updating my status. The one bad thing about it is that if you do have a lot of storage left of your phone then it locks you out of whatsapp and says that you don’t have enough storage so you can’t use whatsapp so I had to delete some of my apps and photos (so if you could do something about that it would be great thanks because I hate having to delete apps and photos just so whatsapp will work!) But overall whatsapp is great and you should definitely download it. Also I just wanted to say that some people say whatsapp doesn’t let you backup your chat history but that’s NOT TRUE AT ALL because when I got a new phone I was able to transfer all of the chat history onto my new phone. And one more thing: other people say that there is no way to put any protection on whatsapp but that’s NOT TRUE either because I was able to put touch ID on whatsapp so when I got onto the app it requires touch ID and you can also put Face ID depending on what phone your have.

Overall A very good messaging app that I use a lot.

Whatsap certainly has had its trials and tribulations, but from what I’ve seen so far, only access ability stuff that needed doing is working very well now, I can access a lot more stuff using voice-over than I used to be able to, and I always believe that as long as the developers listen to us, the customers and users, what ever you want to call us these days, Service users, and users, clients, patrons, whatever! then something is working the way it should! I just have one final thing to say, keep up the good work! Keep improving this program, and you make a lot of people very very happy and keep all our communication needs in check! I talk to people around the world with this program, and I really enjoy using WhatsApp, sometimes, it’s the only thing that I can really get my hands on to use, when everything else is broken! So I’m super excited about that! It’s really good times. Anyway, thanks for keeping this going, keep up the good work, and making WhatsApp better!

No chat backup if you change your phone!

This App is USELESS if you’re counting on trying to restore your chat history when changing your phone! I’m livid — if I could give it zero stars I would. There is no customer helpline, only standard Troubleshooting guides, which all leave out the key info which they only say in their standard-form email reply :”We aren’t able to help you restore your chats, documents, media files, backups, or call history. In most cases, the chat history and media files can only be found on your phone or the recipient’s phone.”
They omit to say this — funnily — in their marketing blurb about how you can backup all your data and restore your chat history from the cloud at the touch of a button. That is NOT true. The App does NOT systematically back up to the cloud, even if it claims to: it backs up to your PHONE. So if you change your phone, or SIM card, EVEN if you keep your number/have enough space in the cloud/connect to WiFi/ enable your iCloud Drive . blah blah.. and do ALL the things you’re supposed to do, just FORGET about retrieving your data.

SORT IT OUT WhatsApp — many customers are now writing about this problem. Your blanket claims re: backup are, frankly, misleading advertising. And your customer service is non-existent. Do better please.

Change of the passcode rather than using the phones same passcode, and chat hide feature

Dear whatsapp developers i m using whatsapp since past 6 years. seen many changes and evaluation from then. its all going seem less but there are few issues which i would address u. after enabling the touch-id in whatsapp app. security features increased and in my opinion it was necessary to do so. but pls dont use the same touch-id and passcodes which we have set fr our phne. its must be different as it will increase extra security and one more issue i need to address u is that while chatting or while lying on the whatsapp app. when i switch to notification center and when i come back to whatsapp app. there my screen turns white for few milliseconds which seems that it is slowing down as i m using iPhone 8 plus. and pls add the hide feature in whatsapp as hike is giving this feature. it is really necessary in my opinion. pls look after my concerns regarding this update.

Unable to update status

I am unable to update status on the app since 3 days now. The error showing is “something went wrong. Please try after 24 hours”. Even after trying after 24 hours, still getting the same error message. It feels very irritating to go through this. None to provide any solution to this problem. I have even mailed the whatsapp team to look into this regard but no one has even acknowledged yet or provided any solution to this. The app is so pathetic that I am unable to even backup my chat history on the app where it’s stuck on 53% and not moving a bit ahead since 2 days even though I have good internet connection. I don’t understand whom to contact or what to do with this problem. For an app with this huge base and backed by the tech leader like facebook, this is a worst service that the whatsapp has given. Having seen the jump of #signal app, it’s time to move and chuck whatsapp to their foot level. I will wait for another 24 hours to get this resolved or I’ll first make sure I along with my family member and friends to install signal. Time’s not far to see the downfall of whatsapp with such pathetic service. If you still wish to serve your users do address my and others who are going through this problem and resolve the issue immediately.

Need few more customisation and minor bug fixes for iOS

Hey WhatsApp team, few customisations are missing and I feel they might be useful for all of us… Note: I’m an iPhone user and I’m on iOS 15.2 1. Only blue colour was available for icons in bottom tab bar, some more colours would be appreciative 2. We can not shift the WhatsApp into dark mode .. to achieve this I need to enable to my mobile itself.. I personally iOS looks better in light mode and WhatsApp in dark mode 3. An issue I noticed today ( jan 12th 2022) extra long messages are not wrapping horizontally… we need to close and re open again to make this happen 4. Almost majority of the users use this app very frequently and I feel like events would be a great feature where we can add up to a limit.. and all get notified at once 5. As majority of the people are working from home it would be nice where we can share our screen ..not just for work.. even for movies 6. Sharing these complaints and feature requests via app would be great I hope these features are noteworthy and see these features with upcoming updates
